Meet with us and explore your life through visual art. This course is a mixed media approach to keeping and sharing your memories. During our weekly meetings students will pick a memory to include in their visual journal. This is excellent practice for the budding artist to explore their emotional side which is the foundation of art

Teen Drawing & Painting

Join us for a comprehensive course in sketching and drawing, learn techniques to better your drawing skills, discover your style, be creative and have fun all at once! This class is also excellent for portfolio development for the young artist.

All materials are included and kits are available upon request at a low cost.

Intro: Cartooning/Anime

Mixed Media

An explosion of creativity through mixing different painting and drawing materials and methods rather than using just paint! Many methods can be used including collage, fabrics, texturizing materials, and anything else you can think of using. This is a perfect way to play with your creative side.

Portraiture 

A comprehensive course in learning how to draw portraits! This class is excellent for portfolio development for the young artist.

Topics include:

Introduction to materials

Introduction to the basics of drawing (depending on skill level of student)

Study & Introduce Concepts

General Outline: Looking for basic shapes

Proportions: "How to" approach. Practice topic

Shading - "How to", practice topic

Oil Painting for the Serious Beginner

A comprehensive course in oil paints. This course seeks to demonstrate various techniques in oil painting - the preferred painting medium of many serious artists. Oil paint colors are gorgeous and learning how to use these beautiful colors can be instantly rewarding. Paint suggestions and techniques will be covered.

A TEACHER PREPARED PAINT KIT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. Please indicate that you would like the kit and it will be available for you on the first day of class. You may pay when class begins. The reason to purchase this kit is to save money and to buy good materials. . If you already have a painting kit, please bring it to class!

Paint  NITE's

Join us for an evening of fun and create one of our one-of-a-kind art pieces. Our instructors makes this step-by-step painting enjoyable and our Friday evenings have a party atmosphere. Bring a friend, family, or group! BYOB!
