Morgantown Arts Center is a Community Art Center and a lot more. The items that you donate are used for a variety of purposes, not just for creating funding. Our community center focuses on converting your excess items into a creative means of rehabilitating local community and civic pride. Our objective is to create HOPE for those who have little, by teaching skills and building confidence and using our resources to improve quality of life.
Donations can be dropped off at 4997 N Twin Valley Rd Elverson, PA 19520 by appointment or during operating hours. We pick up your donations if you are local to the area and if you have a truckload.

For everything else, we can find a use, or get it to an organization that can use it.
WHAT
We accepts almost everything when it comes to donations. Because we are an Art Center rather than a thrift store, stuff that you might normally consider junk could actually be a significant art material.
A simple way of judging what is a good item to donate is to determine whether it is re-usable in any form and the best way to do that is to look at the list of items we do not accept.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
Trash (food, soiled items)
Moldy items
Smoky or smelly items
Press Board Furniture
Televisions
Plastics, glass, cardboard and magazines that can go in your recycling bin
Everything else we accept.
We put people first.
When you donate to Art of Recycle, Morgantown Arts Center and other places like us your excess craft supplies and other items that might otherwise go in the trash bin, you are doing a lot more for your local community than you might ever imagine.
We rescue items that would otherwise have ended up in the landfill, we convert them into funding to better individual lives and our local community. We use a portion of donations to develop programs that teach skills and build confidence. We utilize our donations and excess to support other organizations who are also in need of resources and funding. We work hard and do our best in striving for a fantastic future.
Yes, we do pickups. Please call us or e-mail us to determine if you are within our travel area to arrange a pickup. We can assist with packing items as well as lifting/moving items if you are unable to do so.
